摘要
Nowadays information is a key resource for the enterprise, and Negative entropy principle further support the importance of information. So enterprises want to succeed by obtaining more and more information from outside what will decrease the entropy of enterprises. But actually the fact is not. Information overburden has been a serious issue for the enterprise to deal with. This paper analyzes the relationship between the value of information and the amount of information by the basic concept of information entropy, demonstrates the irrationality of negative entropy principle, namely information also maybe do harm to the development of enterprises, and points out that the value of information lies on the quality of information not the quantity of information. So enterprises should pay much more attention to the management of information resources.
