摘要
We have developed a facile spin-coating method to prepare water-repellent SiO2/polymer composite coating without any surface chemical modification. The wettability can be adjusted by controlling the content of SiO2 nanoparticles. The coating demonstrates sustainable superhydrophobicity in the condition of continuous contact with corrosive liquids. Importantly, the coating can be fabricated on various metal substrates to prevent metal from corrosion. (C) 2012 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
