摘要
Dense Ti2AlN/TiB2 composite was successfully fabricated via in-situ hot pressing using Ti, Al, and BN powders as starting materials. The reaction path, microstructure and typical properties were systematically investigated. It was found that the crystallographic orientation relationship between Ti2AlN and TiB2 could be expressed as: ( 0 0 0 1) Ti2AlN//( 0 0 0 1) TiB2 and [ 1 2 1 0] Ti2AlN//[ 1 2 1 0] TiB2 for the first time. The composite exhibits high flexural strength ( 924 +/- 45 MPa), high hardness ( 13.4 +/- 0.3 GPa) and high electrical conductivity ( 6.5 +/- 0.2 x 10(6) ( Omega m)(-1)).
