摘要
The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of TiO2 - NPs percents on the compressive properties of hybrid composite resin. The materials used are hybrid composite resin of shade A1 and TiO2 -NPs. Hybrid composite resin is mixed with TiO2 NPs, and then it is packed into plastic bars. The samples are then cured with strong mod at 80 seconds by a visible light curing unit. Compression testing is carried out at room temperature on tensiometer using spring load 10 kN. The results show that the hybrid composite containing 0.1 wt. %TiO2 NPs exhibits the highest compressive properties followed by the hybrid composite containing 0.2 and 0.3 wt. % TiO2 NPs. Based on these results, it may be concludes that the optimum TiO2 NPs concentration is 0.1 wt. %.
