摘要：
The utility of xylose-based agar medium for differentiation of Candida dubliniensis from Candida albicans is evaluated. All C. dubliniensis isolates failed to grow on this medium, while C. albicans isolates yielded good growth. This simple in-house medium offers an inexpensive alternative to commercial yeast identification systems for resource poor settings. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
