摘要：

A surface-plasmon-resonance sensor was applied in the measurement of the effective refractive index of highly turbid calcium carbonate pigment slurries. Information on the absorption of the pigment slurries as a function of the concentration was obtained by the sensor. It is suggested that the sensor can be used for monitoring the optical properties of slurries. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
