摘要：

The connotations of cultivation features of applied talents in local colleges are mainly the seven characteristics of school-running orientation, talents quality, university spirit, disciplinary specialty, education and teaching, teaching contingent and school management. In the talents training, stress should be placed on the applicability, practicality and diversity of talents cultivation and special emphasis should be placed on the regional culture, dominant discipline, university presidents' idea and the support of famous teachers.
