摘要
The advanced particle detectors demand high-resolution, high-throughput spectroscopy for energy measurement. However; its hard to balance the resolution and speed. In this paper; cut FPGA-based energy spectroscopy system for the real-time spectrum measurement with the function of a random pulse generator is presented. Benefiting from the superior performance ADC and digital signal processing algorithms, the system achieves remarkable throughput and enemy resolution. Energy spectrum can he acquired from the system directly. Electronic tests show that the ENOB of ADC reaches 11.77bit. The overall energy resolution reaches 3.92% when using LaBr3 scintillation detector as a pulse source. Meanwhile, the max event rate is up to 4MHz. The random pulse generator can generate a simulated nuclear pulse with user-configured spectrum, providing a powerful tool for testing the energy spectroscopy system.
