摘要：

This article aims to give a clear vision about child labor in children from 5 to 14 years old. The province of Cotopaxi in the republic of Ecuador, is one of the provinces where there is evidence of growth in the work of minors with this age range. That is why the research aims to establish the impact of the project of eradication of child labor in the development of public policies on child labor in the cantons of Latacunga, Pujili and Saquisili through statistical data and communications during the period 2014-2016. For this purpose, a field and field investigation can be carried out in the entities related to this topic, evidencing the number of minors who are working in this period, the local public policy handled in these years and the index of child labor.
