This research was born from the observations and regencies performed in the classroom in the supervised internship in the public school, and also in the debates and discussions made in the classes along the course in English Language Arts. This study aims to provide the student with other ways and possibilities in the learning of LILA, through new practices of literacy in the school context. All the theoretical foundation was based on the researchers of language learning and literacy from Soares, Street, Janson, Miccoli and Paiva, and others. It was elaborated a project of workshop in English for Specific Purpose with reading. The production of the didactic material was based on on adventurous drama, with the production of a preventive campaign against human trafficking. This research has an ethnographic nature, a qualitative approach, and the data collection was done through participant observation, questionnaires and internship reports. In this study it was possible to notice that, the incorporation of literacy in the learning of LILA raises the learning of the learner and promotes the participation of the school community, in its knowledge acquired through social practices.
