摘要
The aim of this investigation is to study the effect of cement by-pass dust addition as mineralizer with different percentages on the burnability and clinkerization of raw mix for Portland cement production. Actual kiln feed from Suez Cement Company, Egypt. Raw mix without and with different percentages up to 10% of cement by-pass dust was fired at various temperatures up to 1400 degreesC for one hour. The kinetics of clinker formation was studied using free lime and insoluble residue determination. The phases of the fired clinker were identified by using the XRD technique.
