摘要：
Data from statistical surveys of levels of employment in Russia show that the global economic crisis has had a strong negative effect on the labor force, and also that young people have been more affected than other age groups. If youth unemployment in Russia is to be significantly reduced, those entering the labor force must be better prepared to provide the skills needed by employers.
