摘要
This paper propose a low cost compact edge fed rectangular patch antennas by way of the Defected Ground Structure (DGS).The proposed two shape i.e. E and F DGS antennas operate at resonating frequencies of with the return loss as -16.115dB at 5.35GHz, -16.85dB at 8.25GHz, -14. 115dB at 7 05GHz and return loss as -15.72dB at 5.55GHz and-13.83dB at 7. 25GHz and they showed the diminution in size while having substantial performance The Proposed Microstrip patch antenna that is able to transmit at a target frequencies straddling above C band in wireless communication services. The performance measures of conventional and DGS antennas had been simulated in Ansoft HESS Simulation software. The simulation results showed that the DGS structures improved the performance of the proposed model and the results suggest that DGS reduced the antenna size up to 24.3% for E Shape and 48% for the F shape DGS.
