摘要
This paper presents the development of an intelligent Android based wireless system to assist the differently abled person by making them self-sufficient in controlling the room ambience as per the requirements as well as to call the attendant when needed. For this purpose, the voice driven and secure application software is developed in Android platform for calling the nurse using Zigbee communication interface and using Bluetooth based wireless communication the user voice commands will provide the desired actuating signal to actuators at receiver end for on/off control of electrical appliances. The system is very simple and easy to use as it is communicating with the subject in real time using the Android application software from the Android based personal digital assistance devices.
