摘要：

The fundamental trends in development of activated carbons are formulated: selection of carbon raw materials, methods of activation and regulating the pore structure, and a study of the properties and areas of application. The basic properties of carbon fibre adsorbents (CFA) that determine the expediency and areas of their application are reported. The trends and areas of application of CFA are determined.
