摘要
Using the rode-in-rode, the tapered-elongation and the jacking-drawing technique, a singe-mode phosphate glass fiber with a core diameter of 8 mu m was fabricated. Laser properties of the fiber were measured using a Fabry-Petor cavity. Single-mode Nd3+-doped phosphate grass fiber was pumped by a laser diode of 800nm at the room temperature. Laser emission centered at the wavelength of 1.053 mu m was observed, and a 1.053 mu m CW laser with output power of 8.36mw and slope efficiency of 30.6% were obtained.
