Data-mining technology allows corporate managers to extract implicit facts from the existing enterprise databases. Data mining aims to reveal a large number of facts about corporate data through a structured online process. This technology can be used to assist corporate decision-making process. This article provides a manager's guide to effectively prepare and implement data-mining methods, technologies, and processes.
