摘要
This research aimed to examine the influence of three stimuli factors including information overload, fear of missing out (FOMO), and privacy concern towards the experience of Social Networking Services (SNS) fatigue as negative psychological consequences that subsequently induce SNS users in having a discontinuous usage intention. By analyzing the generated 200 responses from Indonesian Instagram users, it is discovered that information overload and fear of missing out have a positive and significant influence on the construct of SNS fatigue which thereafter also positively and significantly impact SNS users' discontinuance intention. In addition to that, there exists a direct positive and significant influence of information overload to users' intention to discontinue their SNS utilization. However, for privacy concern, this construct is found to not significantly influencing both the experience of SNS fatigue as well as SNS users' discontinuance intention of using the platform.
