摘要
The investigation of dissolution and degradation mechanism of NiO cathode in Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell (MCFC) has recently attracted considerable attention. In this work a novel in-situ Raman spectroscopic technique were developed to study the CO2 microscopic action in the dissolution of NiO. The results indicate that CO2 tend to adsorb on the surface of NiO, and the adsorbing CO2 is prone to being desorbed in molten carbonate under O-2 contained atmosphere, due to the strong reaction between the adsorded CO2 and active O-2 on the NiO surface.
