摘要
Electrochemical reduction of neonicotinoid insecticide imidacloprid was studied using cyclic voltammetry and tast-polprography in aqueous media. The reduction of nitro group to amine was the main reaction process confirmed by mass spectrometry analysis of solutions electrolysed on Me mercury pool under controlled potential. Beside, elimination of the chlorine atom proceeded at more negative potentials. Differential pulse voltammetric methods were developed for determination of imidacloprid with hanging mercury drop electrode. glassy carbon electrode and mercury film electrode. The methods were applied for determination of the pesticide in commercial insecticide formulation and spiked rivet water samples.
