摘要
We do believe that it is possible to describe the people work in an organization and its relationship with Information Technology. For this purpose we build an analysis of the people work, using some principles derived from the Activity Theory and the Structuration Model of Technology. We propose an analytic framework and a method that allows us to watch work made by people and understands how Technologies is used in organization and how the organization can influence the use of technologies. The analytical framework and the method cover the different functions people play in the work, how changes in the work occur over time, and the role played by information technologies after each change. It is our faith that this method can increase the alignment between people, their work and the information technologies in an organization. To test the operational effectiveness of the method and analytical framework, these were applied to a case study. The example chosen is the work within a recruitment organization specialized in finding experts to technological areas. The description was obtained through interviews and on the observation on the work performed by people.
