摘要：

Silica supported AlCl3 catalyst was prepared by ion-exchange technique. Ketones are oxidized by 30% hydrogen peroxide in ethanol and transformed into the corresponding lactones with very high selectivity catalyzed by silica-AlCl3. The catalyst was easily prepared in large scale with inexpensive materials and recyclable. (C) 2008 Published by Elsevier B.V.
