摘要
In this paper, a shared-aperture antenna with dual-band, dual-polarization and low profile characteristics for base station applications is presented. The proposed antenna consists of four parts, which are a lower-band element, an upper-band element, a loading metal plate and a reflector. Element are arranged such that the upper-band element is placed above the lower-band element to reduce the coupling between them. The metal plate loaded in the lower-band element could reduce the height of the antenna to realize the low profile characteristic. The simulated results show that stable radiation patterns in the lower band and upper band are obtained. In addition, the port isolation between them higher than 30 dB could be realized.
