摘要
A holographically-formed polymer-dispersed liquid crystal is reported with two distinctive reflective states brought about by a single laser exposure of a liquid crystal-rich emulsion. The two reflective states are the result of two structurally different domains that are formed during the holographic cure. A simple phenomenological model is presented that describes the dual-domain effect. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S0003-6951(99)02921-6].
