Intracavity opfical parametric oscillator at 1.57 μm by a diode-pumped Q-switched Nd: LuVO4 laser

摘要
We report an intracavity optical parametric oscillator at 1.57 mu m based on non-critically nonlinear crystal KTP driven by an end-pumped acousto-optically Q-switched Nd: LuVO4 crystal. The output characteristics of 1.57 mu m were studied with different pulse repetition frequency. The pulse width of 5ns, the maximum peak power and pulse energy of 4.8 kW and 24 mu J were obtained, respectively, with pulse repetition frequency of 5 kHz. The compression ration of pulse width was six times for 1.06 mu m to 1.56 mu m.
