摘要
The immobilization process of Ti(O′Pr)4 on surfaces of silicon oxide and surface-initiated polymerization of εcapsulation, was analyzed. A substrate presenting hydroxyl-group-terminated self assembled monolayers was immersed in a toluene solution of Ti(O′Pr)4 for 1 hour at room temperature and rinsed with toluene. Further, Ti4 showing extreme oxophilicity and instability is easily transformed into titanium dioxide under mild hydrolytic conditions and this hampers various applications of titanium compounds. The results shows that PCL-coated films by the grafting-from method are obtained using immobilized titanium catalysts at the Si/SiO2 substrate with benzyl alcohol as the initiator.
