Studies on stoneflies of North Dakota with the description of a new Perlesta species (Plecoptera: Perlidae)

Records for fifteen stonefly taxa, including eleven confirmed species are given for North Dakota. Literature records for an additional three species could not be confirmed. Perlesta dakota, n. sp., is described from the adult male, female and egg. Diagnostic characters are presented using illustrations and a SEM photomicrograph.
