摘要
Until now, helonium (HeH+), probably the first molecule ever, had not been observed astrophysically despite decades of searching. In the April 17 issue of Nature, Gusten et al. finally report the detection of HeH+, opening the door for a better understanding of this molecule and what that means for the origin of chemistry.
