摘要
This conceptual framework focuses on cross-cultural crisis management on quality. An overview of Chinese contractors, because of their increasing dominance in Africa- a developing construction market was undertaken. Literature review identified quality as relative, dynamic, and defined by the 8 quality management (QM) principles of the International System Organisation ISO: 9001. Successful QM system on the other hand was identified to be anchored on deep understanding of the national culture, measurable by Hofstede's 5 cultural dimensions. The main finding is the matrix: 40SmQMAT, hypothesised responsive in space and time.
