摘要
The article identifies main trends in the development of social practices in society and their connection with the forms and types of architectural space. The author defines stages of formation and development of social and architectural spaces. It is concluded that social and architectural spaces exist in the form of physical space places. It is established that the place occupied by the subject in the social space finds its expression and consolidation in the architectural space. It is concluded that the placement of subjects in space fully reflects its social status, starting from the type of residential building to being located inside the same structure: the further from the entrance the subject's place inside, the higher his social status. Antiquity is associated with the beginning of relations folding between man and nature, and the beginning of the society differentiation. It is indicated that the early history stages are characterized by the scape specialization according to their functions: places of residence, altars and public places. In the Middle Ages, there was a consolidation of the three-part division of internal spaces: in the temple: the altar, the central nave, the narthex; in the castle: the main entrance, the rooms for receiving guests, the internal rooms for the owners. By this division, each estate was ordered to be in a certain room and have a certain type of behavior with limits of movements. The development from the multifunctional internal space to its specialization is defined as the main trend. In the Modern times class boundaries and further buildings' specialization were erased, according to their functional affiliation, the distinction between professional and private life was strengthened and orientation changed: from state power to the life of an individual subject, it's inclusion in a constantly transforming and expanding space. The emergence of a public building, as one of the public space forms, also gave its function - the distribution of people flows and management of their movements. The change in the visual dominants of modern architecture and its connection with biological processes are emphasized: a high status is determined by less muscular effort, as well as a change in the location of residence places: today, the higher the floor, the more prestigious. It is concluded that the social world based on blood and estate ties is replaced by a world of posts, official and unofficial ties. Personal spaces are formed in the architectural space and public ones receive an extensive network of contacts, by increasing the number of social roles and communities, in which the person is included.
