摘要：

For the solution of the Frost-Kalkwarf vapor pressure equation (which is both implicit and transcendent), an explicit solution is established in terms of Lambert function. A simple approximation is provided for generating a good, simple and inexpensive starting value usable by any root finder. Using Newton methods, all calculations converge within one or two iterations. (c) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
