摘要
This paper describes a comprehensive model for transient engine thermal management simulation. The aim for the development was to implement a model where several aspects like heat flow, mechanical systems and control can be simulated simultaneously. To achieve this a general tool that can be used interdisciplinary within a big organisation is required. SIMULINK was chosen for this task. Heat flow from combustion chambers to cooling air is modelled with a lumped parameter approach. Vehicle on road cooling system behaviour is simulated by adding a power train model. Engine and roads are chosen from a library.
