INFLUENCE OF PRE-SOWING SEED IRRADIATION OF TWO INTRODUCED FLAX CULTIVARS WITH GAMMA-RAYS

摘要
The plot experiment was conducted in the experimental field of the Plant Growing Department of the Agricultural University - Plovdiv in 2000/2002 by blocks method with four replications and size of the yield plot 20 m(2), with the following introduced flax cultivars - Atalante (from France) and Bionda (from Germany). The pre-sowing seeds irradiation was done with gamma-rays in doses 20, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 600 Gy. Untreated seeds were used for control (St). The strongest stimulating effect in terms of the index seed yield per da in cultivar Atalante was obtained on seeds irradiated with 300 Gy (184 kg/da), and in cultivar Bionda - on seeds irradiated with 100 Gy (142 kg/da).
