摘要
In order to examine the effect of partial charges of dye molecules on charge recombination in dye-sensitized solar cells, we synthesized carbazole-based dyes with ether chains on a pi-conjugated oligothiophene linker. The addition of negatively charged oxygen atoms on ether chains resulted in a decrease of electron lifetime, suggesting that partial charges on the dye increased I-3(-) concentration at the surface of TiO2.
