Impact of Cloud Computing on the IT Portfolio Management: UAE Case Study

Cloud computing is on the forefront of the technological landscape and is emerging as a key enabler for any organization to respond to the dynamic market place with agility. Companies will need to adopt this technology if they want to meet evolving client trends and needs. This paper seeks to explore the impact that this changing trend has on the IT leadership. A plan to develop a model with highly integrated tools and techniques for agile IT portfolio management is proposed. This model should help to bridge the gap between fast changing business needs and the responding technologies. Empirical research using UAE as a case study is proposed.
