MUNICIPALITY MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

Annotation The Slovaks consider environment, safety, cleanness and health care access the most significant factors from a point of view of attractiveness of towns and municipalities. The attributes mentioned above should become priorities of local governments to improve living conditions of inhabitants. The most serious challenge which should be overcome by the towns and municipalities is economic instability and environmental pollution. That was a reason why the municipalities have come up to increasing municipal waste and small building waste taxes and charges.
