摘要
Two-dimensional (2D) structures of isobutenyl ether compounds possessing relatively short alkyl tails (carbon numbers = 12 and 13) were studied using scanning tunneling microscopy at a solid/liquid interface. Coadsorption of solvent molecules was partly dependent on the alkyl chain lengths of the isobutenyl compounds and solvents. Tandem Claisen rearrangement induced structural convergence, and the solvent effect was completely quenched.
