摘要
Latin America is a region that has experienced various transformations, where social movements have played an essential role. These can be considered as the awakening of society, as they manage to summon multiple sectors and individuals to raise their voices, fight for their ideals and question ideas that have been rooted in culture for a long time. In addition, they are capable of structuring new national narratives that are more equitable and seek the common good. Therefore, this paper seeks to discuss: to what extent are social movements the political hope of Latin America in the face of the region's right-wing and inequality scenario? This, taking into account the role played by young people today.
