摘要
A new approach to teach the physics of music as a course to students is proposed. The formulation enables one to take lessons from the physics of music and apply them to other areas in physics. A one-semester physics of music course developed for non-science students is described. The course is based on spectroscopic analysis of waves to understand the nature of science in depth. The historical and physical themes have also been developed through the course and are interleaved as the course progresses imparting a musical feature to the course.
