摘要
The thermal, optical, and gamma/neutron radiation of PbO - P2O5 -SiO2 - Na2O- F2O3 glasses are all evaluated in this article. The glass system have an amorphous status was established by XRD. When Fe2O3 content is increased from 0 to 2 mol%, Tg rises from 455 to 471 degrees C, Tc increment from 555 to 579 degrees C, and T-p increment 580-601 degrees C. This observation because the single bond enthalpy of Fe-O (343.3 kJ mol(-1)) is higher than that of Na-O (37 kJ mol(-1)), this increase occurs. Optical bandgap E-opt.(dir), and E-opt.(indir) increases, while (E-u) reduces. The glass composition G 5 was observed to be higher than other glass samples in terms of gamma and neutron radiation protection. (C) 2022 The Author(s). Published by Elsevier B.V.
