摘要
Surge voltages, which are the result of galvanic, capacitive or inductive coupling on data cables may destroy IT equipment within a network structure. Suitable protection modules must be developed to avoid such failures. The following paper describes the steps of development, problems and a possible solution for surge protective devices (SPD ' s) in high-speed networks with good transmission performance and discharge capability.
