摘要
In this paper, we present a digital signage system that utilizes virtualization technology. In the proposed system, signage contents are played in a signage server. Screenshots of content are captured and transferred to a thin signage player. User interaction information is transferred from the signage player to the server. We have used the process based virtualization scheme for the system. The process based virtualization scheme requires less computational resources than the conventional virtual machine based virtualization scheme when serving multiple signage players.
