Education and training are key prerequisites for any food safety management system. The commitment of management to these all-important programs can have a major impact on the success of a company, both as a processor of safe and wholesome foods and economically Food processors need to make sure that training and education programs are developed, documented, implemented, and maintained. There must also be a program to verify that the training is effective. To be successful, instructors conducting training and/or designing programs must understand that their target audience is composed of adult learners. © Copyright 2013 AACC International.
