The purpose of this study is to enrich the understanding of Arab female TV reporters and their level of job satisfaction. How Ownership and the organizational structure of the TV Station could affect job satisfaction among female reporters are among the questions examined in this study. In this research we sought to determine satisfaction with ten distinct areas of employment (salary-training- Ownership and Advertiser - Influence promotional opportunities- Supervision-coworkers- decision making- work environment- Personal Safety- job responsibilities) by using two of the most often used survey instruments (Job Descriptive Index and Job In General) that measure job satisfaction. A total of 200 surveys is to completed by male and female reporters who are identified as full-time employees of both governmental and Private Arab TV stations (Abu Dhabi TV,Gesira, MBC,and Egyptian Satellite channel (ESC)). The data will be gathered by means of a structured questionnaire, Fredrik Herzberg's theory of motivation, power distance, masculinity femininity theory of Hofstede have been chosen to analyze data as well as variables.
