Facile construction of imidazole functionalized polysiloxanes by thiol-ene "Click" reaction for the consecutive detection of Fe3+ and amino acids

摘要
Novel imidazole-functionalized polysiloxane (PMMS-IM) was synthesized by facile thiol-ene "click" chemistry. PMMS-IM exhibited strong photoluminescence excited by a wavelength of 365 nm. In addition, the consecutive response to Fe3+ and amino acids by fluorescence quenching and lighting has been investigated. The sequence response of PMMS-IM towards Fe3+ and amino acids exhibit fine selectivity. Moreover, PMMS-IM represented a useful tool for monitoring the Fe3+/amino acids cycle in situ in lived HeLa cells. This work represented the first example for the consecutive detection of Fe3+ and amino acids based on polysiloxanes. The presented investigation illustrated a promising approach towards the ultilizing of functionalized polysiloxanes as a novel kind of appealing fluorescent probes.
