摘要
This paper presents a design of induction heater introducing Class E resonant inverter operating in high-frequency. The Class-E resonant inverter can be achieved by zero voltage switching and zero-dv/dt switching by using a single switch where the control switch is turned on to optimize the switching loss. The steady-state operation of a class E resonant inverter is studied and the steady-state mathematical equation is derived for different duty ratio. The critical value of damping ratio and quality factor is calculated. A brief comparison is done between a class e resonant inverter and four switches full bridge inverter.
