摘要：
University libraries are typical knowledge-based organizations, Documentation and Information Centers of colleges and universities, and important base of the information technology of colleges and society. The people they serve for are the readers with higher knowledge level and higher information awareness. The article introduces the elements of Library Knowledge Service definitions, characteristics, and library knowledge service system, the development strategy of the university library knowledge service in order to help readers access to the latest scientific and technical information and provide a information guarantee for the knowledge innovation.
