摘要
2-(2-Thienyl)phenanthro[9,10-d]oxazole has been synthesized via reaction of 9,10-phenanthrene quinone imine with thiophene-2-carbaldehyde in ethanol. The product interaction with electrophilic reagents (nitration, bromination, sulfonation, formylation, acylation) has been studied. Electrophilic attack takes place at the thiophene ring or at phenanthrene moiety, depending on the reaction conditions.
