摘要
The isospin symmetry can be used to constrain the branching ratios of tau decays as well as yield information on the dynamics of the final states. Comparisons of five and six pion tau data with the isospin relations indicates that the final states in these decays tend to involve an omega resonance. If the decay dynamics of the seven pion tau decays are similar to the five and six pion decays, then isospin relations could explain the low branching ratio limit on the tau(-) --> 4 pi(-)3 pi(+)nu(tau) decay.
