摘要
Bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L. em. Thell.) genotypes consisting of 10 experimental lines and 7 released Indian varieties were characterized with Inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers to estimate genetic diversity among them. Thirteen ISSR primers used in the study amplified 164 bands out of which 123 bands were polymorphic and thus showed 75 % polymorphism. Dendro-gram generated by the ISSR markers data showed that two genotypes NWL-6-4 and NIAW 1342 out of all the 17 genotypes were closely related to each other as they were having a highest similarity value of 0.91. One (AC)n repeat primer in the study, UBC- 848 showed highest (100%) polymorphism among all the genotypes, making this primer most useful for other genotypes also. These results represent the potential of ISSR markers in intra-specific genetic diversity analysis in bread wheat genotypes.
